A deal was signed to make use of a
vacant parking deck at Durban
Station. The objective was to redevelop
this location for formal and informal

the Mr Price Group. The cost of this
development was R25.5 million.

Mitchells Plain Station Plaza is a R43-million shopping centre adjacent to the Station, which was launched in 1999.

This development offers 6500m² of lettable office space.  This project is a product of a joint venture between Intersite and Thebe Properties which was initially valued at R40 million. A 7-year lease agreement was subsequently entered into between financier and owner, Capital Property Fund & PriceWaterhouseCoopers.

This shopping complex was completed in 1992/3. It is an Air Rights Development over the railway line between Wanderers & King George Streets, Johannesburg. The total cost was approximately R30m.
